This is why we listen

With this work I hope to evoke a sense of strangeness, distortion, something which is recognisable but seen in a new light. Exisiting in the world after ones bodily autonomy has been violated can feel like this - reality shifts, everything has an air of unease. A world in which bodily autonomy is not respected is one in which we must remain vigilent, keenly listening for the potential of harm.
